Tried the New York Village Music Tour. What a waste of time! It named 7 places, didnt provide any interesting facts, instead for each place it simply listed a ton of musician names. GPS continuously thought I was walking on top of buildings and parking lots. ( whereas apple native maps perfectly showed my location ). Due to GPS lag the app didnt give proper directions. And between the very little tour info it gave there were long moments of silence. If the short NY tour is of such quality, then the city guides are probably as bad. Erased the app today.

Nice app, lots of information. Easy to navigate and to understand the narrator.

Way better than a conventional guidebook. I hated that the app automatically starts TALKING to you, but once we turned that off it was fine. Lots of confusing functionality that we never used, but simply having a GPS map with all attractions labeled so that we could easily complete walking tours was invaluable. I liked this app better than Pocket Guide.

Only needs a better metro map

All is super good, the only bug is that its impossible to fully download offline tours for Waterloo, Warsaw, it just stops at 71.4%.

This app is an attractive travel tool. The graphics are pleasing. Theres a good balance of graphics versus text.

Pocket guide is a fun fun app that I used during my off hours on business trips and began using it during vacations. Not only did I have a blast touring the cities, but my friends and I had a ball in exploring our citys theme tour. Just a fun fun fun time, and its a great virtual tour for future trips as well. Pocket guide is always in my pocket!

I got the Montmartre tour in Paris and it was very good. The commentary is professional and the path is guided along the map road. Breaks at suggested restaurants. I just wish it would inform when you wander off the path.

Bought the Paris guide, but the app crashes trying to download the offline content, so Im out $6, so hard to give this any sort of good rating.

It is a scheme that they dont have more options in a country!! I use it all the time.

Travel a lot and can always use good information about options available to me and whats all around me. This was a fantastic idea! :-)

Im so glad Philippe, whom Ive known for years, has just done his tour of food shops in Paris, called "on the footsteps of Amelie Poulain". Philippe is an incredible cook and also a huge Paris enthusiast, so how fun to follow his footsteps and learn from a real insider about the best of Paris food shops (omg what could be better...).

This app is great to give you a very good view of the city you will be visiting. It has photos, audio for the attractions and everything to make you feel almost like a local. I love it and downloaded several audio guides that I can see before my arrival so as to get the most of the moment and enjoy it at full scale:-).

I have loved this app for my travels! With many of my trips, I have less than a day to see a city. Pocket Guides tours allow me to catch the highlights of a city in a short amount of time and without any transportation costs. Not to mention you can learn a lot about a citys history from Pocket Guides short audio highlights. I am very glad I had this app for my day long stops in Zurich and Munich! This app is worth it!
